The age-old teachings of Sawan Kirpal
Ruhani Mission/Science of Spirituality, or Sant Mat (Sant translates

Hazur Baba Sawan Singh Ji Maharaj (1858–1948). When students from

they returned to establish meditation centers in their own cities and towns.
Hazur Baba Sawan Singh Ji Maharaj's
successor,
Param Sant Kirpal Singh Ji Maharaj (1894–1974), made these teachings available
to even more spiritual seekers through his three world tours. During his ministry,
centers spread throughout North and

.
Sant Kirpal Singh Ji Maharaj wrote
numerous scholarly books encompassing all aspects of spirituality, yoga, and comparative
religion. In

, he is known as the father of human
unity. Many of his verbal discourses are available today, preserved on audio tape
and some on videotape.
In 1974,
Sant Darshan Singh Ji Maharaj (1921–1989) continued the spiritual work as Sant
Kirpal Singh Ji Maharaj's successor. Through four world tours, his many spiritual
books, audio and video tapes, he taught how spirituality could be practiced in the
context of modern life.
Since 1989,
Sant Rajinder Singh Ji
Maharaj, the current spiritual leader of Sawan Kirpal
Ruhani Mission/Science of Spirituality, has expanded the number of global centers.
His spiritual discourses, meditation seminars, conferences, and numerous world tours,
bring the spiritual benefits of meditation to countless numbers of people all over
